First Baptist Church
We believe "You shall love
the Lord your God with all
soul, and with all your
mind. This is the great and
first commandment. And a
second is like it: You shall love
your neighbour as yourself
On these two commandments
depend all the Law
and the Prophets."
Matthew 22: 37-40
Our mission is to seek God,
serve God,
and share God's word
Our congregation is friendly &
active in supporting each other
and our community through:
- "The Christian Neighbor Center" - The Place
- Our Daily Bread Food Pantry
- Chenango County
Habitat for the Humanities
- Aunt Mary's House
- Fourth Saturday Diaper Distribution
- Dinners for the Warmth,
Assistance, Recovery and Hope
Center (W.R.A.P.)
- Services and visitation to local
nursing homes
